Holiday Poinsettia Display

Holiday Poinsettia Display Travel to the tropics this holiday season with a bright and colorful display of Poinsettias! This year’s show will feature many of your favorite poinsettias from years past, as well as some exciting new cultivars.

December 7, 2019 – January 5, 2020
Open Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Santa Arrives on Sunday, December 8, at 1:30 pm

And, YES, we will have many colors and sizes of poinsettias available for sale!
Come early and often for the best selections.

Poinsettias are the signature holiday flower. No longer is red the main attraction, we have orange, pink with splashes of white, and variegated as well. Come brighten your winter day with us!
Winter Rose, Ruby Frost, Ice Punch, Snow Cap, and Red Glitter are just a few of the spectacular varieties of poinsettias that are on display, complete with a grand decorated tree.

The show opens on Saturday, December 7th at 10 a.m. Throughout the duration of the show, many beautiful poinsettias will be available for sale! Our gift shop is also well-stocked with books, cards, and house plants.

PLEASE NOTE: Our photo policy has recently changed.
Please leave your tripods and monopods at home ON WEEKENDS during the show. Hobby photographers are welcome to bring tripods and monopods on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays – your commitment to remaining mindful of foot traffic in display areas is appreciated.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping pathways clear during our busiest season!

Tickets for the Druid Hill Farmers Market Solstice Celebration (Saturday, December 21, 7-10 p.m., at the Rawlings Conservatory) are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

Come join us around the roaring fire, roast some marshmallows, jump on a hay ride, and celebrate with friends. Create your very own “Winter Solstice Resolution,” write down a wish for the new year and burn it along with holly leaves in the blazing solstice fire.

Take a break from the out-of-doors to enjoy the “Tropical Holiday” themed poinsettia display and listen to the sounds of the Trinidad and Tobago Steel Drum performers in the Conservatory Palm House.

Oh – and there will be seasonal refreshments too! (Hot chocolate, punch, and light refreshments included – beer/wine and additional food items will be available for purchase.) Kids under 16 are free. This party is a fundraiser for the matching program at the farmers market.

We hope you can join us!
